T in the Park extends its licence till 2012

At least two future editions of the scottish music festival T in the Park will be organised on the airfield in Balado, according to the agreement reached by the organizers and the
Perth and Kinross Council.The festivals licence has been extended till 2012. T in the Park first started out at Strathclyde Park, and has been held at the disused airfield in Balado since 1997. This years edition will take place between Friday 9th and Sunday 11th July. Kasabian are the only act confirmed so far for 2010. Early bird tickets are no longer on sale. More tickets will become available later in 2010.
